I-485 approved but retracted by USCIS

Hi all,

 

Has anyone ever received their I-485 approval letter and never received their green card?

My case: I am being sponsored by my employer. I recently received an I-485 approval letter last October 2017 but never received the card. Then in Feb 2018, I received an interview letter. I show up for the interview and was told that my case never arrived to the Los Angeles office and therefore they cannot interview me, told just to wait for another interview letter. Fast forward to April 2018, since I did not receive a follow up interview letter, I applied to renew my Work Authorization I-765 as it expires on 5/31/2018. Recently, I checked my I-765 case status online and it says my I-765 case was closed because "the benefit is received by other means".

 

I have called USCIS multiple times, the officer filed a service request to reopen my I-765 case however it still hasn't been opened and I was advised to send an email to SCOP. According to the officer, my I-765 case was closed because at face value it looks like my I-485 was approved.

 

I have sent an email to SCOP, and is waiting for their reply. I am at a loss as to what to do if I do not get a reply from SCOP.
