Hi everyone, received a confusing update on my case which im not sure about. Im a May 2017 filer for my roc and this morning i received two emails advising that there had been action on my case. One was received at 0530 and the other at 0531 so immediately after. Anyway i signed into the DHS site to check the updates. The first was as expected advising that my new card was being produced and would be mailed to me - great! However the second (most recent) update said the following:

We dismissed your appeal. This means your case remains denied (& that they would mail me a letter with info).

Now of course my case has not been previously denied and i have never submitted an appeal so i can only assume the second update is an error or something. But im not sure the best thing to do - should i just wait and see what comes in the post to see if i actually get anything about an appeal and then deal with it if so or if i just get my card only then great. Or should i waste time trying to ask somebody about it on the phone line? I do already have an info pass appt scheduled for 2 weeks time as i was planning to go and get my stamp so i can keep that & go and speak to an actual person if need be instead of trying to call them.

Why cant it ever be straight forward!!!

I believe about a week ago this exact same thing happened to another VJ member who started a thread. You might try to browse through the Removal of Conditions sub-forum and find that thread and PM the original poster and see what has happened with his/her case. Good luck.
