I know that the beneficiary’s BC isn’t required, but because G-325a is no longer included (from what I read, it was common to attach one’s passport-style photo to the G-325a itself), I thought that it might be convenient to attach the petitioner’s photo to his BC copy and the beneficiary’s (my) photo to my BC copy, it could make the petition more organised, rather than having the photos in at the end? Any thoughts on this?

Also, for the petitioner, if he uses his BC to prove his citizenship, he does NOT need to send in a copy of every page of his passport, right?

passport proves citizenship and doubles as proof of meeting due to the stamps. i sent all pages of my passport as well as my BC. just for good measure.

we put our passport size photos at the beginning of the petition so they wouldn't get lost. write the names and date photos were taken on back in pencil.

So it’s not required to put the beneficiary birth certificate anywhere in the petition binder? I filed mine in February and have been worried because my fiancé’s birth certificate is in French and I forgot to translate it and was worried for a rfe instead of an noa2.. but if it’s not required until interview that’s a big relief. Please let me know!

Yes, beneficiary’s BC is not required during the filing. It will be required during her interview. So you are fine. 😌

Sorry it’s a he. Yes,  Beneficiary’s BC won’t be needed upon filing. Even if you ask the pioneers here on VisaJourney. But upon his interview make sure it is translated to english. Actually you can have it already translated now. The earlier the better because we don’t know when you will really get approved. It might be sooner than later. So better to prepared.

You are good. Don’t you worry. 😉
