I am a US citizen, wife is an Indian citizen. I am in India on a tourist visa and have been staying in India with my wife since Feb this year. Can the address where we are staying be mentioned as "last address at which you lived together", even though its not my current permanent address (my current physical address is in the US) and I am only visiting India on a temporary basis?

Also, I and my wife have lived together at this address for most of the 5 months since Feb except a 3-week period where my wife visited her parents. Can we safely ignore that trip of hers when putting the from date - to date for our stay together, or do I need to mention this 3-week visit in the additional notes or something?

Technically, you don't live together, but I don't see any issue with showing that address and dates.  I would refer to the last page and add the information there as "additional".  Indicate you have been visiting since whatever date, through whatever date.  It's a good way to show time spent together in person.  Back it up with your passport entry stamp or entry and exit stamps.

So... do you recommend putting this information in the additional information section and leaving the actual fields in the form blank? (As I have stayed with my wife while visiting but not "lived" with her)?

Just trying to get a second opinion on this from this forum,,, I-130 asks for 5 years employment history. My previous employer from a couple years back has changed their address since I worked there. What address should I put, the address where I was employed or the current address? Is USCIS asking for the mailing address of the employer or the place where I worked when I was working for the employer?

Absolutely do not write in the fact that their address has changed in the “additional information” section. That section is not for random footnotes.

Ok.. thanks!

Scenario 1: Question: How many times has the beneficiary been married? Answer: 0

Do I still need to put N/A in the items:  "Place of beneficiary's current marriage (if married)",  "Names of Beneficiary's spouses (if any)"  ?

When the beneficiary has been married 0 times its obvious that there is no spouse, so can these just be left blank and USCIS figures it out unambiguously?

Scenario 2: "Information about beneficiary's family."

Lets say the beneficiar's family has 3 members, a spouse and 2 children. Do I still need to put N/A in "Person 4" and "Person 5" fields or leave them blank?

Scenario 3: "If you are a lawful permanent resident, complete Item 40a - 41. "

Since I am a citizen and earlier in the form I have checked the I am a  Citizen box, can I leave these blank (USCIS will figure it out) or would it still be better to put N/A?

Also, if I do put N/A in multi-field items (eg: Spouse item has fields Family Name, Given Name, Middle Name, Relationship) , is it sufficient to put N/A in the first field of the said item, or better to put N/A in all the fields for each  item?

Scenario 4 : If Beneficiary doesn't have ARC number / Social Sec Number / USCIS online number, can I leave the fields blank, or put NONE in each of them?

Thanks!!!

You can leave the boxes blank or write N/A or none. It's up to you. I put N/A so that no one else could potentially write in the boxes.

And I assume you didn't run into any kind of issues due to all the N/A's ?

I agree that you can put N/A into any blank boxes. I put them for every single thing that did not apply to us. I did not receive an RFE or have any problems in writing N/A to the many many boxes that did not apply to me - but someone else I know left many boxes blank (didn't write N/A) and got an RFE stating her petition had not been filled out all the way. She wrote N/A in the blank boxes, sent it back and was approved a couple weeks later.

How is the beneficiary related to you? I know your scenarios may only be scenarios but scenario 1 can't be 0 if in scenario 2 you say they have a spouse....
