NBI Clearance

So my fiancee' got her NBI clearance yesterday, but she is worried and upset that her signature is too small and doesn't' match the one on her passport.  She said they made her sign on a pad and it was hard to sign on and they didn't give her a chance really to view it and see what it looked like before they printed her certificate. Is this a big deal?  Will the CO at the interview scrutinize over her signature being too small and not matching her passport?  Should she go back and see if they will let her resign it and get a new one printed?  Thanks.

That's what I tried to tell her, but she is very worried about it.  I told her I don't believe they will even look at the signature really.  They only care about having the certificate and it saying, "No Record found" I believe.

Nothing to worry about.  Is the NBI in her name as shown in her birth certificate?    If yes .. no worries there.

 

Has she ever used more than one name?   If no .. then no worries there either.

Thanks Hank! That is actually another thing she was worried about slightly. As her name has an Ñ in it, but they told her they can only do N there.

That is not an issue.   Special characters are not allowed so she is fine.

Just as I stated in the other thread. She should have no concern for the Ñ to appear and that goes for any document.

 

Also, the signature is fine. You guys are being overly picky about what is required and how things look. As long as you tell the truth and that your information is correct, and again Ñ does not count for correct, then you will be fine. Like we say "trust the process" and your life will be that much better for it.

No worries at all. It's one signature, maybe she's just upset it doesn't look as "nice" as her normal signature would. My husband has probably the neatest signature I have ever seen and it's consistent; but one "bad" one won't matter. Tell her just relax and don't worry.

Ok well thats good news then if it doesn't matter for any document.  I have tried telling her to not worry about the signature, but she continues to worry.  I'm not worried at all about, but she is.  I shows her everyone's posts here so maybe it will make her less worried now.

Quick question.  If my fiancee' birth certificate  says she was born in this one town and then her NBI clearance says she was born in the same town but the town has since came became a city is this an issue?  Also the same for the 1-129F form. 

 

In other words the "city" part is missing from the birth certificate and passport (because it wasn't a city at the time), but is present on the NBI Certificate and I-129F form (that has already been approved).  Is this an issue since they are not the same?

 

For example (not the real place):

 

Birth certificate says, "Oconee"

Passport says, "Oconee"

NBI certificate says, "Oconee City"

I-129F says, "Oconee City"

You are worrying way to much in regards to little issues like this. For example: My wife was born in Davao Del Norte Province, that province has now broken up in to 3 provinces. Now my wife's town where is born and raised is in Compostela Valley Province. 

 

There was no issue getting her NBI and no issues with the embassy at all.

Yeah I really believe we are too.  I am trying to calm her down and reassure her is all and she is like ask the forum and see what they say.  I think she is ok with it now.  Thanks.

So when verifying the NBI clearance online on their site it only shows the name of the person and the green verified message.  It has a spot for a picture, but it looks like the picture is broken and not showing up.  Is this a problem with their site or is the person's picture suppose to be showing up?  Thanks.

Photo and fingerprint are done at NBI when picking up
