I see the status of document is showing as SUBMITTED. It has been 10 days I see no update. I dont even know if the document I submitted has been received or not. We were only required to upload it to CEAC. What does your status say on the USCIS site? Ours went from "ready" (status before interview) to "administrative processing" after we uploaded to CEAC. Then it changed to "issued". We were also told to email our embassy after we uploaded the document, just to let them know we uploaded it.

I was unaware that you can upload the additional requested documents via CEAC website. When we were given the 221g white paper after the interview, they said we can drop off the documents and passport .... OR mail them. So we express mailed them via courier. 

 

In my situation , we should fine?......(I’m hoping!)

@truelove29 I am the petitioner. My wife is a beneficiary. I not only uploaded the required additional document on CEAC but also submitted it by clicking on the Submit Document button. I dont know if it makes any difference as the document is available on CEAC for CO's review.

I uploaded the document on 12th Nov 2018. My wife's interview was conducted on 8th November 2018. CO kept her passport. It has been 12 days since I uploaded/submitted the document on CEAC. The status is showing as "Administrative Processing" and the last status update date is showing as 8th November 2018 (when the interview was conducted).

hi all. At the interview they requested more photos and to upload that to the CEAC website under additional docs. I uploaded the pics to the website but I am not able to click the submit button. The status of the pics says uploaded. Does this mean they received them or not. The instructions just said upload and did not mention pressing submit. PLEASEEEE someon reply because I am desperate otherwise I want to find some other way to submit.

@akeelayou have to submit the documents on CEAC. The post/IV dept. will not be able to see the documents if not submitted. Only uploading is not sufficient. You must click on the SUBMIT button.
