Confused about the holidays and interview schedule

Hi,

My fiancé has his interview scheduled for 08/23/2018. We noticed that this is a couple of days after the Eid Al Adha holiday (08/21/2018). Please note that the embassy has NOT called us to reschedule..yet. We are only worried that they might as they recently rescheduled another couple here on visa journey (their interview was initially set for 08/24/2018 but was rescheduled for September, see MayiandMimi immigration timeline). The Holiday calendar https://ma.usembassy.gov/holiday-calendar/ shows that there is a holiday on Aug 20, and Aug 21. Additionally we saw this posted today on US Embassy Rabat (but not Casablanca?).

In observance of several Moroccan holidays, the U.S. Mission in Morocco will be closed on the following days:

Monday, August 20, 2018 for the Revolution of the King and the People

Tuesday, August 21, 2018 for Youth Day.

Wednesday and Thursday, August 22 and 23, 2018 for Eid Al-Adha

I was just wondering if they were to reschedule to a new date in September, and my fiancé has already completed his medical exam on Aug 9 (which would've been 2 weeks from Aug 23) would that exam not be valid anymore since it would be more than 2 weeks?

It seems that the consulate should be open that day (August 23). Even if they do call to reschedule, you don't need to worry about the medical. The medical should be valid for 6 months.

If you are going through the visa process and will be interviewing in Casablanca, Morocco, join us over at the
