At this time,* vaccines for these diseases are currently required for U.S. immigration:
  • Mumps.
  • Measles.
  • Rubella.
  • Polio.
  • Tetanus and diphtheria.
  • Pertussis.
  • Haemophilus influenzae type B (Hib)
  • Hepatitis A.

Nope. You get what is required some less some more. The only influence that a female would have on whay shots she gets is wether she is pregnant or not.

Just curious if anyone had a list of which vaccines my finacee (female...if that matters) will receive during her medical at ST Lukes?

Thanx!

Varies with the person to a degree ... and what diseases they had as a child.

Don't worry on it any, St. Luke's will give her the necessary vaccinations

Do they give all these shots at the same day on the second day of the medical exam? Also, if she has already had some of these, but does not have a vaccination record will they give it to her again and will this causes any issues?  Thanks.

Yes vaccinations are the 2nd day, and yes to getting a vaccination again if no shot record or evidence.

With that said, the majority of the vaccinations listed are NOT administered.   My wife received two vaccinations, a 3rd was marked as her having "Vaccination History" (you know that round scar) another was marked seasonal not necessary (flu) and the rest not received were marked Not Age Appropriate

Norm is between 2-4 vaccinations.

Ok thanks for the information.  I guess its good they do them all on the same day so you don't have to come back later.  Hopefully, she won't have to get too many as I hate to get shots that much.

Not sure which are the 4 vaccines given at SLEM as I haven't gone through with the medical exam yet but they are most probably

For adults:
1. Measles, Mumps, Rubella
2. Diphtheria, Tetanus, Pertussis
3.  Influenza
4. Varicella

Some vaccines are recommended based on other factors such as age - children are given  vaccines for Polio, Rotavirus, Hib, Hep A, Hep B, Meningococcal and Pneumococcal diseases while seniors are also given Pneumococcal vaccine. Those who work in the health care setting (doctors, nurses, med techs) should also receive Hep B vaccines

Im very scared why they gave vaccination like that alots and same time

It is a normal amount. Have you never gotten vaccinations before? The only one that hurts is the tetanus. :) It'll be over before you know it.
