@tomuk, can your USC fiancée make a profile here and begin reading?   I think having as much credible info between the two of you is critical.   We spent months reading and preparing while waiting for my fiancé’s final divorce deceee, and I felt that we still made errors along the way.

There  is nothing easy or fast about immigration, and errors along the way can add months or years to the process.

I WISH we had done the CR1 route now. The more complicated your case is, the longer it takes for USCIS to adjudicate your case for k1, or at least it has been the case with us. My fiancé also has two kids, is also divorced and I have some history in the US as well (2 years on J1 visa, 6 months total on VWP, the second time they did not like I was coming back) so the background clearance or whatever it is, takes forever. Good luck and let me know later on if you need anything 😉🇨🇿
