USCIS London petition filing - any need for evidence of legitimate marriage

Hi

my wife USC with dual UK citizenship about to file I-130 peition at the London Consulate as we have both lived in UK together for over 10 years. I am a UKC from birth.

On the London USCIS checklist for spouse Visa it mentions nothing about providing evidence of legitimate marriage, such as paperwork with address, bank accounts, photgraphs etc showing living together.
Am I correct that filing via London USCIS none of this evidence of legitimate marriage is required and purely what is on there checklist.

Secondly it states to firmly staple together, am I correct in saying everything needs to be in one stapled packet. (need to find a stronger stapler ..lol  )

Thank you

I'm rather certain that the London USCIS field office does not require evidence of bona fide relationship when submitting the I130. They instead request it for the interview. If your packet is too thick to stable then you might want to try stapling individual sections and clipping them together.

Personally i wouldn't staple but instead use binder or paper clips.

Don't staple period.  Always use binder clips and paper clips.

The I130 instructions for the London USCIS office state that you should staple all of your documents firmly together. The exact quote is: "STAPLE ALL OF YOUR DOCUMENTS FIRMLY IN THE FOLLOWING ORDER".

I know generally stapling is not recommended, but foreign USCIS offices have different instructions than the US based ones. They sometimes require extra documents and photos, and frequently have different filing instructions. They also require you to follow their instructions above the official USCIS instructions if there is a conflict. Here's the relevant quote from the London embassy's site regarding the official 130 instructions:

Note:  You should only use these instructions as a guide to completing the I-130; if there is a conflict between the instructions and the above checklists that are provided for submitting the I-130 to the London Field Office, you should follow the checklists

I've pulled out staples...Lots of staples.  I pull out staples EVERY day at work and it sucks!  So even with those instructions I probably wouldn't staple.  LMAO!  But you do what you feel is best! :D
