Please delete if this post is not allowed. Our case is at TSC, NOA1 August 1st 2017, we contacted USCIS many times, senators, congresswoman, and all we got was to be told to wait more or background check is still going on. No RFE yet. It's been over a year. Petitioner is USC, married for over 2 years (1 year at the time of NOA1). No criminal records, no huge age difference, no one was married before, beneficiary has never been to the US and has no one there but petitioner. We are too frustrated.

Has anybody come across something like this before?

I'm assuming that this is for an I-130?

I'm quite stymied by such a long time for no action.

While my wife and I are currently in process with an I-130, we had previously submitted an I-129 that got sent back for review, and was allowed to expire.  I actually hired counsel to help in that case.

I'm terribly sorry for the situation you find yourself in.  It seems to be far outside normal processing times.  Someone else here hopefully can be more helpful than me.

I will certainly pray for you two.

Yes it's I-130. Thank you for your support and prayer. I'm sorry you had problems with your I-129F, that must've been very frustrating. How's your I-130 going? How long has it been?

I hope at least you're currently living together. We haven't seen each other in a year so it's more difficult for us, even more with 14 hours difference.

I hope and pray that we all hear soon from USCIS.

The 130 is going as well as can be expected.

She has an interview scheduled for the 25th of September.

We are apart as well.  I'm in the States and she is still in Sri Lanka.  It's tough, but we will get through it.

I think your case is outside processing times. U better fill the form below https://egov.uscis.gov/e-request

When can I ask about my case?

We have posted a “Receipt date for a case inquiry” to show when you can inquire about your case. The “Receipt date for a case inquiry” is the upper end of the range (converted to a date). If your receipt date is before the “Receipt date for a case inquiry”, you can submit an “outside normal processing time” service request online

It is. We already filled that form 3 times. 2 of them told us to wait for 60 days of total 120 days which is 4 months. The last one they only told us to wait until the background check is finished, they did not give us any time frame.

@Faithdiwirja

Thank you very much for your help and suggestions, but we have done every effort we could do. We're currently at the peak of our frustration and planning to start our life in beneficiary's country.

I am so sorry for that. Each case is unique. That is why they took times for that. Wish everything goes well for both of you. Anyway did they request some information about you, guys?

Unfortunately they haven't requested any information...

I kind of figured out you were from Indonesia based on your username. I'm in another forum (Indonesians only) and their cases go well, unlike mine. I wish you the best luck with your immigration journey.
