Hi guys,

I am one of the winners of DV-LOTTERY 2019

I have completed and submitted DS-260 form.

When compiling it at the section 'my current job' there were no possibilities to indicate that one isn’t currently working as I decided to take some holidays.

I am an IT contractor in UK and when I finished my last contract I decided that I will take a 3 months vacation (June-august 2018). During the holidays I discovered that I won DV-Lottery 2019.

When filling the application there was no possibility to indicate you are currently unemployed.

So I fill in a job title and description that’s in my field with the hope to send an email explaining my situation. I will like to know if it was the best thing to do.

If not how can I proceed.
