This doesn't include Facebook fan groups right? Because I'm in so many pun groups and pizza-related groups it's insane....

Lol, no. It only includes clubs/associations which you physically participate in. For example, it seems that you're from Singapore, if there's a Singaporean Expat community in your city in which you're an active member, list that. Also list professional associations etc...

Citizenship Journey:

(Month 1)-   N-400 sent: 12/20/17

(Month 2)-   Fingerprints: 01/11/18

(Month 8)-   Interview: 07/30/18

(Month 9)-   Oath Ceremony: 08/23/18

Officially a U.S. Citizen!

I figured, I was only joking. 😂

If I were a churchgoer for like... a month, do I still have to list that? I don't even think I signed up for membership. For anything. Not even Costco.

It does include professional associations.  Hence "ANY" association, club, etc.  When in doubt, disclose.  It won't change anything, unless your associations are a national security threat (probably not the case with accountants, maybe lawyers :))

Just remember that the more you disclose the more time they have to spend on background check.

I don't think that's correct, but if you have evidence to the contrary, feel free to post it.  In any event, this isn't relevant to the disclosure requirement, which is ANY, meaning ALL.  "Sorry, officer, I didn't disclose because I didn't want my background check to take longer" would not reflect well on one's good moral character, would it?

I don't have any evidence,,, just common sense in my opinion...if you disclose something (i.e.: an affiliated group) that raises a flag to USCIS then I am sure they will review the group and its function/purpose.

This would take more time than a person that was not affiliated with said group (or perhaps did not mention).

I'm not saying to hide items that clearly should be disclosed but rather the consequences to the application review and processing  timelines...

Except that's not how background checks work.
