The Dems do seem to be in a race to the bottom when it comes to who is further Left.  They are openly courting the DSA wing which another thread clearly shows what the DSAs long-term strategy for the economy is (hint, it is full Socialism/Communism).  The Dems have proposed laws to eliminate ICE and run immigration as "Catch and Release", and many of the Democratic controlled cities and states are openly advocating sanctuary status for illegal immigrants to the detriment to the rest of their legal residents.  As to the PP stuff, killing is killing.

 

As to Walkaway being a real or Astroturf movement, who knows, but I am certain folks walk-away from their political parties everyday.

i don't know what democratic party you're following but ..they are not 'openly courting' dsa.

Bernie Sanders, Ocasio-Cortez, just to name a few.  Elizabeth Warren seems to be digging the left ditch deeper and many of her colleagues are right there with her.  DSA has not had such open support in many years.

 

As to PP, sure, SCOTUS said killing was ok in this case, do I agree with their decision, no, do I accept it, yes if grudgingly, btw, SCOTUS does not make Law according to our Constitution.

hardly evidence that the democratic party is openly courting dsa. bernie in particular is a super bad example. elizabeth warren does not identify as a dsa member. oc won a primary. anyone else?

I think I have heard you make this claim before.  Or maybe it was someone else.  At any rate, why IS the abortion rate for blacks so high in this country?

 

Blacks are about 13% of the US population, whites about 61%. That means there are approximately 4.7 times more whites than blacks overall.  In 2000, there were 5 times as many black abortions as whites.  In 2014, almost 3 times.  That’s over 20 times and over 14 times based on the population by race.  I’m not saying democrats are necessarily wanting blacks to have more abortions, but there has to be a reason why the numbers are so high?  (And coming down in recent years)

i didn't make a claim. i was listing a few of the many MANY conspiracy theories that abound on the right..all accusing democrats of oppression and destroying the country in general. why don't you look into the number of parents charged with beating their children to death..break it down by race.

Sure, OC is running against a person that is not even campaigning.  It would be a hoot if Pappas defeated her considering she has been crowned the victor already (shades of 2016), but more than likely she wins running away.  Sure, EW doesn't identify as a DSA member, but she is espousing some of their rhetoric.  The Dems are really trying some different tactics for 2018, they might work, and they might not.  We shall see.
