In the absence of information and clarification, hearsay/gossip/mushene is permitted.

So let me provide some mushene: OP probably left wife and kids abroad in search of the holy grail aka GC. Got it and since he wasn't in it for matters of the heart, union that produced the little wallet plastic was soar. Now, since Papa is to become a USC, bro wants clean slate, to start over, so that he can also include the true soul mate and offspring in a fresh journey.

Above is hearsay, until OP clarifies.

The advice given about the procedure and timeline was posted on page 1. However with out you explaining what your issue is no one will be able to tell you how it may impact your status and naturalization process.

If you do not want to post it publicly you can send me a private message.

He applied OCT 15 and was approved JUN 16... It is now AUG 18. Plenty of time to start a new relationship marry and have children.

“Plenty of time”? He apparently met someone (who lives overseas don’t forget), courted, married and had at least 2 children ... all in 2 years and all with someone who lives in a foreign country? Is it possible, of course, but most people would hardly characterize as “plenty of time” immediately meeting (where?)  and marrying someone before popping out kids asap (despite living apart) the only way it could legitimately have been done in that timeframe.

Youre also conveniently leaving out the bit about where OP has admitted to lies that will lead to naturalization being denied on good moral character grounds.

Well he filed in OCT 15. He was already divorced when he filed. He actually waited until the 90 day window opened because an attny told him he needed to.

APR 14 was when he was inquiring about what to do. His marriage was over and divorce was filed but not completed. So its more like 4 years. Plenty of time to not overlap. Is it sufficient time to establish a relationship and bring children into it? I dunno. Ive seen people move faster and people go slower. Its his prerogative. All Im saying is the timeline allows for them to not overlap.

I read the part he posted about 'some kind of issue that can deny him on GMC grounds'. But its my opinion that he was misinformed in the past easily so he can simply be misinformed once again and maybe its not such a big issue as hes imagining it to be. Its also clear in his post that he is and has been struggling with this concern for a while and this is the idea he came up with to rectify it. Clearly he needs help. His solution is not a viable one- which leads back into him being severely misinformed.

Evidently you didn’t read some of his old posts the way I did,** and obviously not having a “completed” divorce as you term it actually still prevents you getting married again legally, but whatever, you seem very keen to jump to his defense while ignoring that  he DID something that he clearly thinks is seriously WRONG and what he admitted he LIED about on his RoC application. He very specifically brought up the good moral character issue. Yes maybe he’s just a misinformef naïf that thinks lying about a speeding ticket is going to prevent his naturalization, but the history he presents on here rather suggests otherwise.  Would be lovely if he came back to clarify issues.

(** would love to hear the ex wife’s side of it especially about how he wouldn’t let her act like a “man” she had to be a “woman” (obviously she tried to be too assertive for him?) plus all these very long “business” trips he was taking ...maybe it’s alk innocent but there are always.two sides to every story huh?)
