Hi. We were in the same situation. I filed last January 2018 too, and got an RFE last July 2018. After i sent the recent tax return  the status changed in USCIs website to " received response to requests

for evidence " 5 days after.  and 2 days after to "case ready for interview".

Oh by the way it has been a month already since i got my case" ready to be scheduled for interview" but still I haven't received a schedule. So i guess that's another waiting game for us. Just a heads up!😅😉
