I 130 Petition for Step Chil

Hi

 

My husband filing for Adjustment of Status for me and my 4 years old son (his step son)

Do  we have to file two separate I 130 petition for my self and my son  or does single petition of mine will cover both ?

 

Anyone who has been through similar experience please share your experience it would be very helpful to us.

Since he is a US citizen (this is posted in the forum indicating that), he needs to file an I-130 for each beneficiary, and each beneficiary must file an I-485 (+ I-131 and/or I-765 as desired, which is highly suggested).

9/25/17: sent forms to Chicago, 9/27/17: received by USCIS, 10/4/17: NOA1 electronic notification received, 10/10/17: NOA1 hard copy received. Social Security card being issued in married name (3rd attempt!)

10/14/17: Biometrics appointment notice received, 10/25/17: Biometrics

1/2/18: EAD + AP approved (no website update), 1/5/18: EAD + AP mailed, 1/8/18: EAD + AP approval notice hardcopies received, 1/10/18: EAD + AP received

9/5/18: Interview scheduled notice, 10/17/18: Interview

10/24/18: Green card produced notice, 10/25/18: Formal approval, 10/31/18: Green card received

How about Affidavit of Support I864. ? Does it have to be filed separately too for both of them ?
