Is anyone experiencing this with their K1??????

Good Evening folks, 

                                   I took today off to call the USCIS about my K1 application Which has been pending for 342 days. After 11hr30 I finally got done talking to a IO at a supervisor level and she said that my case was sent back from Security check to an officer on 08/02 for final decision and that a decision will be made soon. My question is, has anyone ever been told that before and if yes how long did it take before the decision was actually made? And What was the outcome? I just need to know because after almost a year waiting I feel like this is taking too long. Thanks guys

That is a long time to wait for a K1. I filed in dec & my packet is already at the embassy so something is definitely up. Are there any discrepancies in any of your backgrounds? Did any of you have any criminal background? Not saying that it should make it take longer but maybe they found something that wasn’t added in your application?

Neither of us ever committed any crimes of any sorts. I tried to contact a lawyer he said that it is still within normal times for these cases. I guess I got to keep waiting. any suggestions would be helpful thanks.
