wife take away my greencard

i need help! my wife dont want to give me my greencard and she told me to get out of our house now im here at my friend house. is there wnything i can do? is she breaking the law for not giving my greencard?? can i call 911 and report this for her to give it to me  she want to divorce me and left me with nothing

It is your Greencard.  You are supposed to carry it with you at all times, so, basically yes, she is breaking some law or something by taking it away from you.

 

She is also your wife. You could call non-emergency police to try to sort it out as a domestic issue... and see if they can compel her to give it back to you.

Yes, it is illegal to withhold your property from you. Being married doesn't mean everything is shared property.

if she is trying to divorce you....i would first retreive my green card and consult a divorce lawyer. Call the police on her. if you later try to mend things....immigration might not have kind eyes on you.
