It's best if you talk with a qualified immigration lawyer.

Who in their right mind seeks asylum in a place ruled by China.

Your fiancee can not apply for US asylum from China.  If she seeks asylum in HK, then she is asking the Chinese Government for protection.  Her asylum case would be evaluated under Chinese laws by the Chinese Government.

People shouldn’t talk if they have no idea what they are talking about.

I am confused. You said she is LGBT. Does that not stand for Lesbian Gay Bisexual and Transgender? That would mean she is gay and you are gay (female) too?

Apparently the fiancee is bisexual and currently in relationship with a man (the OP.)

Im sure they would rather still be under the British however Hong Kong is safe, and provides legal aid to refugees.

Why don’t you try Jeju Korea?

perhaps Malaysia or Singapore?

She is a Chadian citizen so she would need a visa for Korea otherwise it would be the first choice. Malaysia is corupt and will return Saudis on request. Sinapore is an option however its an unknown as far as safety.

Why Hong Kong though? We do not admit refugeees or asylees

As I understand it since 2014 you have the USM https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Refugees_in_Hong_Kong#Unified_Screening_Mechanism
Which processes asylum claims. Its incredibly difficult to be successful and most get referred for placement in other countries.
If you know differently let me know, I am open to being wrong. I just want her safe. This is only a back up plan incase she doesnt get a TRV visa to canada

Yes, she has a Twitter where she has lived as open LGBT and atheist since 2015. I mention these as reasons to be able to request an expedite with USCIS. Also the lawyer said its easy to explain the wanting to get married soon after meeting as it is customary in her culture. And yes I love her very much and I have know her for years.

So after 3 years what is the issue now?

i think it's a little overreacting, they love US when they see with her USA visa they won't say a word instead she will get more respect from them
