Hello,

Wanted to get your opinions on whether I should/could send a document to USCIS eventhough I already submitted my packet? I am afraid I will be getting an rfe for this missing info and I want to send it since it has only been one week from NOA1?

Thoughts?

When did you mail it out? If it is still in transit, then you might be able to retrieve it. Otherwise,  you will probably have to wait for the RFE (or approval).

Hard to give you advice when you don't share what you forgot to include and want to send now. In any case, I would recommend sending it in along with a letter explaining, plus a copy of your NOA1. Might not work, but the worst case scenario would be a RFE

let us hope they do not need it and the following does not apply to u as immigration does not say if the following applies to cases sent in after 9/11 or first reveiwed after 9/11 as they will no longer issue an RFE after that date for missing documents

Updates Policy Guidance for Certain Requests for Evidence and Notices of Intent to Deny

WASHINGTON - U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) today posted a policy memorandum (PDF, 113 KB) (PM) that provides guidance to USCIS adjudicators regarding their discretion to deny an application, petition, or request without first issuing a Request for Evidence (RFE) or Notice of Intent to Deny (NOID) when required initial evidence was not submitted or the evidence of record fails to establish eligibility.

This updated guidance is effective September 11, 2018 and applies to all applications, petitions, and requests, except for Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) adjudications, received after that date. Due to preliminary injunctions issued by courts in California and New York, this new PM does not change the RFE and NOID policies and practices that apply to the adjudication of DACA requests.

doubtful they would want it if its a minor traffic conviction, but save it and if they send an RFE just forward it to them.
