My EMBASSY is in Dublin Ireland .here is the thing I filled out at my local garda station the form to be sent off to get my police cert I wrote a letter explaining why I need it .the garda rang me back saying they can not proceed with my police cert unless I have a letter from the embassy explaining why I need it this is really really hoilding me up and yes I am getting frustrated with this HOW DO I GO ABOUT GETTING A LETTER OR EMAIL DO EMAIL MY EMBASSY REQUEST THIS INFORMATION ANY ADVICE  WOULD HELP ME THIS IS SUCH A SLOW PROCESS JUST TO GET A POLICE RECORD THANKS PEOPLE

Fairly sure my spouse submitted a copy of the page on the NVC website where it says it's a required document. Could provide that along with anything from the embassy/related to your case that shows you have an active visa case.

Thanks I will look at this .i sent a email to the Dublin American embassy today explaining why I need this so hopefully I will here back from them I asked can you write in email why I need police cert this is such a big hold up for me my local garda station never heard of the k 1 visa so they asked for it in writing from the embassy so fingers crossed I still have my medical to do to but end is in sight

Hey folks,

 

I have already successfully requested my police cert in from the Gardaí.  Didn't need any letter from the Embassy. Got the application form from my local station in Santry Dublin and handed it into the  District station in Ballymun.  Officers in both stations seemed familiar with the process.  There was a section on the form for why needed, so I put in "USA K1 VISA" application.

Visa world so doing my notion of Readiness next few days my embasy is Dublin Ireland now I have all the emails to links but some time when you click on link to go to the e.g. notion of Readiness it would say error so is there another way to do it I appreciate any advice thanks you have a good day in your journey .

It's hard to reply because its hard to understand your questions.   Now, I think this is because you don't show where your sentences start and end. 

 

But I think you said that when you click on the "Notice of Readiness" link in your Embassy email you get an error.  I haven't received my Embassy email yet, so I don't know the link, but if you post the link here, I could try it.  It seems unlikely that the link in the email is wrong, because  other people here have gone through that step.  So its more likely to be something with the browser you are using to open the link.  Could you try typing the link into your browser instead.
