How far back does the Patient Care Summary Record have to go?

Hi all,

I'm sorry if I am posting this in the wrong area. I'm in the process of gathering some documents required for post NOA2, my GP has just printed my patient care summary record. It shows that I have been registered at this GP since July 2014. Previously to this, I studied in another city for three years and was registered for another GP, then I graduated and re-registered in July 2014 at my current GP.

Would the UK medical require me to also obtain records from the other GP I was registered at? I read somewhere that your notes get transferred to from one GP to another, so all records should be together anyway? Not sure how it works or if this is true. Will the document that I have now be sufficient enough?

Thanks for your help in advance.

all of your records are accumulated and in theory should be passed from gp to go. the summary should only detail "significant" or "ongoing" problems and should be no more than 10 pages. if you've had no problems your summary will reflect that.
