Hi, everyone!

Hope you are all well. Today, my husband received his interview notification in the mail. We're starting to gather our materials in anticipation of the interview date. I know that my husband is required to bring his birth certificate, but am I also required to bring mine? My birth certificate is currently in another state at my parents' house. Will my passport and/or certificate of citizenship suffice?

Thank you all in advance for your help! :)

Personally, and it's the OCD in me, I would take/provide EVERYTHING.

I'd rather have a  file full of stuff they never wanted/asked for than have them ask and not have it with us.

Have your parents mail it to you.

Or ask your parents to scan it in and email or fax it to you. :)

We have a copy of my husband's birth certificate. Since we were given the option of providing either my birth certificate or certificate of citizenship when we filed the I-129F, we opted to provide a copy of the latter since I didn't have my birth certificate on-hand.
