Does the petitioner have to give the beneficiary their police and divorce records to bring to the interview?

or do this 2 documents only apply for the beneficiary?

this applies for both. you have to prove you are free to marry, have met in the last 2 years face to face and have intent to marry within 90 days for k-1 visa

10/24/2018                EAD in hand. F%^&& finally

12/28/2018                Interview has been scheduled. Waiting for notification with date by snail mail

i have sent the i-129f and is approved now its in nvc and i'm waiting for the interview. i have proof we have met in person, intent to marry. i am the petitioner, i'm just wandering if i have to provide records of past marriage if i don't have any, and police records if i don't have any. i did not send any of this for the i-129f and it was approved, now i'm wandering if i have to bring mine to the interview. my fiance does have her police record and past marriage, which are both saying there is none and she is bringing them to the interview im asking if i have to get mine too.

a USC (petitioner) is not required to have a police record. single, meaning never married, no need for paperwork.  your fiance yes, she will need divorce decree and police records of wherever she lives for more than 6 months and after the age of 16

if you were never married, you can't very well produce a divorce certificate now, can you?

 

You do not have to provide police checks if there are none (because you cant. USCIS does their own background check anyways)

04/09/2019    NOA1 received/check cashed i 485 and 130 (direct adjustment)

11/7/2019      Interview- Norfolk

11/10/2019    APPROVED (notification rec'd 11/10, approval dated 11/8)

DONE FOR TWO YEARS!!! ;)

 

Filed everything ourselves with no RFE's or delays.

 

CR1 for Child under 21 (20 at time of filing)- Filed by LPR Spouse for his son

4/4/20     Mailed packet

4/12/20   NOA1 rec'd

10/14/21 (havent heard anything... when do i start to get worried?)

9/15/22 APPROVED! Now to wait for NVC and interview....

10/14/21 Mailed to AZ PO Box. Let the waiting begin. Again.
