There are supposedly many reason why she was fired according to tidbits here and there:

1) self promotion, she literally demanded people address her as ''Lady'' and ''The Honorable" and enriching friends and family

2) did not actually have a functioning position, was more like a ''hanger on''

3) had a drinking problem

4) a leaker with various contacts

5)I've heard she'd invite 'friends' around and other hanger ons to help her do wedding planning for her own wedding, floated possibility of having her wedding in the WH, became angered when caught.

6) gave her bridal party a 'personal tour' and had a photoshoot unauthorized.

7) did not want to answer to anybody, may have physically and verbally assaulted various coworkers.

8) treated people like her personal servants.

9) no one actually knew what the heck she did, her job title was a fluff thing, but she had (two!) offices and her hands in many cookie jars where she did not belong all the while earning the highest salary held for officials.

Caught part of Sean Hannity's radio program today.

He made the point that book-publishers are petrified about liability/libel lawsuits.

Why, then, didn't the editor vet the statements and quotes in this chica's book?

Several people (including liberals) have apparently said, "I didn't say that!"

 

Hannity thinks that the book will crash & burn, at least for this reason.

06-04-2007 = TSC stamps postal return-receipt for I-129f.

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).
