It's actually a short wait.  Yes, after receiving a 2 year green card, documentation would need to be filled out again to get a 10 year green card.  Plus you may or may not need to have another interview.  Plus it will cost another $680.

so its wise to do sir to wait for oct 3 2018 then me fly there. then pay for the greencard thru online and book flight. the visa sir 6month before it expires right so i have time to wait if they issue me this month and my interview sir at august 17th im not approve yet. but if we do got approve we know what to do.. thank u sir for so much help

Better wait till after October 3rd to move. What’s one more month if it helps avoid the headache of removal of conditions.

how we gonna do it sir ? we are married in the phillipines sir for 2years and been long distance for 4years..2years relationship and got married 2years ago..  i got lot question sir.. so if we are married in the phillipines. hes also married in the u.s?? what the process we need to do.

So.....as your post indicates, you have been married to your spouse for 2 years after being together for 2 years = a 4-year relationship.

Some questions to clarify:

1. You got married to your spouse in the Philippines, are you still in the Philippines right now?

2. You stated that "hes also married in the u.s??". Are you asking if the marriage is recognized in both Philippines and USA?

3. Being  married in October 2016 would mean your 2-yr marriage will be in October 2018. When you have been married for 2 years or more when you enter the USA after getting your entry visa once your application is approved, you get the 10-year green card.

yes if its both recognized in both phillipines and usa.. thats what im asking.. yes im still in the phillipines 2years we got lot RFE in the past we both was very stressful for all the process.. now finally i have my interview on 17th.. so mam/sir i have question so i ask someone have cr1 process told me that i will still receive 2years greencard even we are both married for 2years is that true? do u have or know someone have experience they receive 10yeargreencard and they married for 2years outside in the u.s? its best way we find out now because we will have to wait 1month just to see esch other out 2years anniversarry is in oct2018.. less stress for removing conditional they said we both should think wise rather rushing seeing each other.

You have already been given an answers in your previous thread from people who have gone through the process and/or are well aware of immigration processes.  Please stop repeating threads.  You don't believe what you are told here then go talk to an attorney.  It's already getting frustrating trying to help you!

I didn't mention spamming at all.  What I stated is that you are essentially asking the same question on more than one thread.

I will ask a mod to merge this thread with the other.

In the meantime, OP, yes I have experience of this - kind of. We had been married for more than 2 years when I arrived.

We got married September 27, 2014.

I arrived here with my visa December 19, 2016.

I got a 10-year green card in the mail. So, the only difference is I'm not from the Philippines but the country of origin is irrelevant. The immigration laws are the same for all of us. If you have been married for 2 years or more on the date you arrive, you will get a 10-year green card. For sure.

The 2-year green card is determined upon the date you enter the USA. You will make 2-years of marriage in October. Did you do your medical already? The entry visa expires 6 months after the medical was done and not from the date of the interview. Depending on when your medical was completed, you may be able to enter USA after October to ensure you get the 10-year green card.
