If you have been married for 2 years or more on the day you enter the US, you will receive a 10 year green card.

so you mean sir. we have to be married 2years in the u.s? not outside in the phillipines?

No, as long as you have been legally married anywhere for 2 years or more when you enter the US, you will not receive a 2 year green card.  You will receive a 10 year green card by mail a few weeks after you arrive in the US.

Yes, you could then apply for 10 year green card 2 years later (can apply for 10 year green card 90 days before 2 year green card expires).

It's actually a short wait.  Yes, after receiving a 2 year green card, documentation would need to be filled out again to get a 10 year green card.  Plus you may or may not need to have another interview.  Plus it will cost another $680.
