I-864 for my mother- Help needed

Hello

 

My mother is in the US visiting us. We are now thinking to file a GC for her. So I have a question related to form I-864. I just started of working full time since one month and hence cant support her . My wife has been working since last few years now and we have been filing joint tax return. My question is, how do we go about filling I-864? I know I have to fill I-864 but does she needs to file I-864A ? OR she can be listed on my I-864 as we file joint tax return? Please advise

you file the i864 as the petitioner and primary sponsor, your wife will be your household member and file the i864A

Thank you. So In I-864, I will list my wife and her income in part 5 of sponsors household size right?

2)Since I just started working fulltime, our total income this year is expected to be more so would it appear okay to enter this year combine salary more than what we will enter for last 3 years?

Well, another Indian national visiting on a B2 and Adjusting status. Quite a few on VJ of late. 

 

That being said, OP, are you a USC?  Previous posts talked about being on a conditional green card.

People like them makes it difficult for other people's family to get a Tourist Visa . I hope one day USCIS will do something about people who bring their relatives on tourist visa and apply for their green card.
