Syracuse NY AOS I-485 Interview

Has anyone had an I-485 AOS interview in the Syracuse NY USCIS office? We had our biometrics there, and I was a bit surprised to get an interview notice that says our AOS interview is also there. I thought we'd have to go to Buffalo or Albany, since the Infopass website says that as of 2015 that's where the interviews are.

 

Maybe that has changed? Thanks for any responses.

Thanks. I know our zip is listed in the Syracuse service area (which is why we had biometrics done there), but my question involves whether that includes AOS interviews since it's a Field Support Office. Buffalo and Albany are Field Offices.

I just checked the USCIS Field Offices page and it says this:

 

"Field offices (within the United States) handle scheduled interviews on non-asylum related applications."

 

And I entered our zip and it came up with Syracuse. Cool. Thanks much.

FWIW, we did our biometrics (but did not need to do an interview) at the Syracuse office, and we were very impressed with everyone we interacted with.  Everyone was kind and helpful.

Yes, we were scheduled in the Syracuse office as well. Adjustment through marriage to US citizen.

How did it go on the Syracuse office ,how long did it take ?

Overall 1.5 hours. We waited to be called in for about 30 min after we arrived and then had a conversation with an officer for about an hour. It was a very good experience and he was very pleasant. We were asked the expected questions about how we met, how our relationship went and how and when we decided to get married. We were informed about the approval right there and he explained how to remove conditions and apply for naturalization.

Hi everyone. I filed last July 29, 2018 for my GC, EAD and AP, got biometric Aug. 27, 2018 and until now I haven’t hear anything from USCIS. I’m really hoping I can’t get my EAD next month.

Hi everyone , I noticed my I-485 case updated On November ,7 th, it says my case is ready for interview ,my I-485 forms USCIS office is Lee’s summit ,MO, I amnot sure if my interview will be in Syracuse or not ? And it takes how long to get notice of interview ? thank you !

My application I sent it to Chicago but I received an email to them that NBC will handle my case.  I will have my interview on January 8th in Syracuse for my green card 🙂 hope u get your interview notice soon 🙂

Hey I filled for my I-485 in June and did my biometrics in July received a request for more evidence in September and is still currently waiting for a response. Can anyone tell me the average wait time they had upstate NY.
