Yes. The taxes needs to be fixed. If you're married you file a married. Period. Ssn is not needed.

01.04.2014 - Interview. 

AoS

03.2015 - AoS started.

09.2015 - Green Card received.  

RoC

24.07.2017 - NoA1.

01.08.2018 - RoC approved.

I'm confused. I assume you are the petitioner by your timeline but do you have a SSN? 

 

Like Roel said, you are required by law to file as married. The simplest way is "married filing separately." You write NRA in the place where your spouse's SSN would go. HR Block automatically puts the NRA in the right place electronically. It's free depending on your income.  You print it off and mail it. Allow 6 weeks for processing after receipt. Of course, in your case, you will probably have to do an amended return.  I'm not sure. Either wait for other VJers with more experience to chime in or just call the IRS and get ready for about a 45 minute wait.
