Sorry about your husband. When you get the visa it is advisable that you pay the green card fee online before entry into the us.

Yes, there is the green card production fee of $220 to pay. You won't get your actual card until you pay it. It won't be a problem that your husband can't pick you up st the airport. I hope he recovers soon.

You can purchase a one-way ticket or a round-trip ticket - your choice. Most people just buy whichever is cheaper. Take a look online at sites like Expedia to find the cost of tickets from your local airport.

All you need is a one way ticket and I wouldn't know the price from your country. There are no fees in the airport.

Some countries charge passengers a local departure tax at the airport instead of in the cost of the ticket, however. Without knowing where the OP is from, it's hard to say whether she will have to pay departure tax at the airport.

I have no experience in buying plane tickets in the Philippines but you can ask the question on the Philippines sub-forum on this site. Other Filipinos here can give you some recommendations regarding travel agencies or booking sites for your ticket.

You can pay it either before you come here or after you arrive. But they won't start making your green card until you have paid. So, if you want your actual card quickly then it's best to pay as soon as you get your passport back.

Once you pay the Green Card fee, the actual card will be mailed to you.  Your passport is not required to pay the fee or to actually receive the Green Card.....
