NVC email states Fiancee K1 case is being forwarded to Embassy in Islamabad. Now What?

Should I now ask my fiancee to go for the medical exam or should she wait for a phone call from the Embassy?

I am still waiting for noa2, did u get packet 3,i am not sure if u even get packet 3 in Pakistan

Did beneficiary got any type of letter before interview after noa2? Thanks. I am still waiting for noa2 so just want to know process ahead

We had K1 visa process at Islamabad embassy. I am unable to update my timeline but here is our information. Hope it helps anyone.

 

k1 approved 08/23/18

NVC assigned case number 09/10/18

NVC stated in transit to Islamabad 09/14/18

Islamabad confirmed receipt 09/17/18 we then filled out DS 160 paid fee, CEAC status READY we scheduled medical and interview K1 does not wait for a packet 3 with Islamabad

 

Medical Exam 09/24/18

scheduled interview for 10/02/18

Interview 10/02/18 APPROVED

 

CEAC  status application received from 10/03/18-10/10/18

CEAC status in administrative processing 10/11/18

CEAC status ISSUED now waiting for call to pick up passport

Once you receive your case number from NVC you can create an account at this website : http://www.ustraveldocs.com/pk/pk-iv-kvisa.asp this list step by step instructions for K1 visa process.

 

the fee for DS 160 is also listed in there you must print out the electronic form that will have fiancé information after they create an account that is only good for 5 days and they will take it to the bank listed on the form to pay the fee. Once it is paid it will take 1-2 days to post on the ustraveldocs.com website stating it is paid and you can proceed to book medical exam and interview. You need to go to that website and read it has all information that you need to be successful on this journey inshaAllah. Good luck!!!!!!!!!!!!
