My medical exam report was obtained in my home country Malaysia, and I have given the sealed envelope from the doctor to the customs staff when I entered United States.

I received my I-797C notice, and the interview is dated 27th Aug 2018. My medical exam report was dated 25th Aug.

Will there be a problem? I understand that I've already submitted the DS 3025 but the date of interview exceeds the date on report by 1 year and 2 days. From what I've read the validity is only for 1 year? Do I need to get another I-693 form and medical examination done?

Fill up your timeline, so that other can know which stage are you now. 27th August 2018, is it for green card interview? If yes, you don't have any problem with that. A year validity is from the date of the medical until the date you submitted your AOS packet

Yes it is for the green card interview. Thank you for the answer... When I received the notice I read through and didn't think much of it because I know I had given the envelope at the customs. It is only today when I'm double checking my documents to bring that I got curious and searching that I read about the one year validity.

Just to double check, I 693 is the same as DS 3025 right?

Yes, it is the same. I remember I asked the same question before too. I get curious because green card interview mostly happen after a year. Good luck with your green card interview :)
