#######?!?! Now this is beyond rediculous and doesnt even come close to "Nat Security/ War on Ter'er" #######.

You don't know that. They don't put people on admin review without good reason.

2 years though? True I don't know that per se... but if it was true nature to NS/WoT.. they'd have acted a bit quicker by now to rectify it. I am guessing its more paperwork pushers than not. And yes, again a personal opinion.

They are doing more than just pushing papers - they are conducting a thorough investigation.

They even talked to his family and friends as part of their background investigation process.

And it takes only 18 months for a CIA/FBI background check to work for one of those institutions. this includes them interviewing family/friends/work plus personal interviews. Again, yes they are doing all they can to make sure of all.. but for whatever reason Shon and Jav seem to have been on review for longer than normal cases, and been bounced back onto review more times than is normal. And again, I have yet to read the reasoning here.

Don't get me wrong, I understand your point, yet I also empathize/sympathize with Shon and her position on this. I am sure you do as well, I just think this is getting rediculous. Shon already mentioned that Jav is getting fed up with the wait, I would personally like to see them together than parted in frustration.

I am leaving for pakistan soon. that was the advise I was given. I am going to forgo my graduation day :( its that important.

I am hoping for the best, Shon. Fight the good fight too!

When are you planning to leave? I agree with most of the others here. You guys have been investigated, interrogated, inspected and interviewed for 2 years. What is it that they are looking at after all this time? Wishing you a safe trip, happy reunion, and quick resolution. Make sure you do what you need to do from here to keep the case from being returned before you take off. As others have told you, talk to Chi and Kiya. :luv:

Are you going to Pakistan to live now for awhile or?

I have not really though it compleatly through. I dont think I would want to live in PK.

but I have considered a diffrent country.

Maybe you guys could try a country with points-based immigration like Australia or Canada. I'm not trying to be funny, I'm serious. If he can't get the visa and you don't want to live in Pakistan (I totally understand that), both of those countries are excellent choices.
