I-130 Timeline with USCIS:

It took 92 days for I-130 to get approved from the filing date

NVC Process of I-130:

It took 78 days to complete the NVC process

Interview Process at The U.S. Embassy

Interview took 223 days from the I-130 filing date. Immigrant Visa was issued right after the interview

I talked to javed the case is being sent back to NVC 221g being revoked.

mean while we have to find out why they said that for.

Man, this would make me pissed. They've wasted so much of your time. Why couldn't they have given you a 221g way back at your first interview? Then you could have had all this time to appeal, etc. :ranting:

Sounds weird to say, but all of the people who get their cases returned via 221g right after the interview should actually count themselves lucky. I can't even imagine being jerked around in AP for months upon months only to THEN be told that they were returning it. They were completely stalling trying to get you guys to give up before they resorted to this.

I'm glad there's so much information floating around here regarding returned petitions thanks to kiya, chiquita, et al.

Shon, I'm so sorry abt all this BS... Kiya's thread abt 221Gs and such are pinned at the top. You should definitely PM them (Kiya, Chiquita, etc) as they can help you get moving on this quickly. This is the biggest bunch of beaurocratic bull$hit I think I've ever seen.... I hope you can get this turned around asap! Good luck! (F)

I am totally shocked! This is crazy!!! They put you through AP hell for this long and now send it back? Have you contacted your congressman/senator? The first thing you need is to get them involved to see if you can get them to take a second look before they send it back. Do you have letters of support from family and friends? If so you need to supply these to the congressman/senator ASAP. I hope you have a proactive representative.
