It happened with us as well

During the interview in May, we did have it ready so we just gave them a physical copy

Then the next day they send us the form but in email questions (not pdf)

Then in June 4th, they send us the pdf form and asking us to resubmit it

 

Not sure if this means it goes from officer to another one

Hey joey, it happened to me yesterday, i send an email to

the embassy asking them for an update, so they replay to me : 

 

“Dear Sir/Madam,

 

Thank you for your email.

 

Please let the beneficiary fill out the attached form and send it as word document by email and then we will process the case and let him know the next step.

 

Please send us all phone numbers you had before in any other country you visited before along with the email address.”

 

So i sent them back that i already submit this for immediately after interview

 

so their reply was: “  

Dear Sir,

 

Thank you for your email.

Please accept our apology.

The file under review and when we finish our procedures, we will update you about the next step.

 

Best regards,”

 

 

I think it was a mistake from the embassy person who respond to me

For our case which is fiance as well , they just needed a new one. This was back in June. so No visa issued for us

It could be that nothing was done. It happened to someone I know they asked him twice.  But no one really knows to be honest maybe they want to see if you have new updates

No Joey.  We had the August 15th update, and then another CEAC update today but no word from the embassy yet. Sounds crazy they are asking for it again...
