hmm well sorry if I created any false hope. I don't have a case number yet with the embassy, so I'm unfamiliar with the kinds of ceac updates one should expect at different stages of this process. I checked my neighbors ceac just now and it did say issued. I hope you get your visa soon Ali!

I don’t know what to tell you .. I’m frustrated too ... my passport has been at Amman embassy for 30 days sharp and I heard nothing from them yet 😔.. last updated was August 15th.. I’ll send email soon and see .. I wonder why haven’t they issued mine yet or let me say I’m not sure if they’ll issue it or not .. big sigh 😔

All are Yemeni, living in Malaysia. We had mailed out our neighbors passport 2 weeks prior. She hadn't gotten any email from the embassy saying that they issued the visa nor did she get a text update from Aramex saying her passport was available for pick up, but because it had been 2 weeks since we sent out the passport, we decided to just go ahead and drop by to see if it was available and it was. 

As for the friend, he had also sent out the passport 2 weeks ago, he didnt get any email saying it was ready, but when he called Aramex to ask about it, lo and behold his was ready for pick up. I don't know if his CEAC changed. 

 

But basically don't rely on an email from the embassy, call up Aramex and see for yourself. 

I did contact Aramex but there’s nothing for me there 😔

sending email will not harm your visa. just dont ask for you passport back if you dont needed. but just asking an update is ok. they will not change thier mind if you smiply ask what happened after  1 month please send emails after 7 days it is normal

Not true. What has been denied is the expedite discovery of documents related to the cases.

When was your interview? 

How long have you been in AP ? 

When was your last CEAC update? 

Did the embassy ever contacted you after the interview? 

Did they ask you to send your passport to the embassy? 

And any other details you’d love to share pls !

no they never contacted me nor they asked for the passport 

i got last updated on the 15TH  but in my ceac page they reopened my ds-260
