Here is ours.. I've heard that rumor before. Ours has had the / for the entire time.  Did yours just change from having a / to not?

"Your visa case is currently undergoing necessary administrative processing. This processing can take several weeks. Please follow any instructions provided by the Consular Officer at the time of your interview. If further information is needed, you will be contacted. If your visa application is approved, it will be processed and mailed/available within two business days. ..."

Mine has a “ /“

what does that mean ?

You sent your passport in, I wouldn't even worry 1% if I were you. Why would they ask for your passport? So they can play football with it? lol sorry but I think you're already getting the visa for sure, otherwise they wouldn't waste your time....but actually I was hoping you would have "or" because maybe it's just random

Can you guys post your AP message? Someone said that a "/" vs. a "or" where it says " mailed or available (or mailed/available) can signify that your visa is about to be issued - can anyone confirm? Please post your AP message.

I have heard about this. My husband told me about it and he says it’s true, he has seen it on a lot of his friends cases.  His case changed to “or” on August 19th

Hey guys, I think it’s true. The change to “or” must mean the embassy is close to issuance date or AP is over from the DOS end.

I just checked one of my friend’s case interviewed in China, yemeni IR1. He was asked for another interview 13 months after the first interview. The asked him for a new police report and new joint sponsor. His case comments changed to “or” before they called him for the 2nd interview. He hasn’t sent the passport to them yet since he’s waiting on his medical results to come out. We’ll see!!

I am sorry but all these assumptions mean nothing for me at least. since as all we know as a fact the issuance rate has been at 5% as the DOS is proud to achieve. I am not even sure what's the goal from using the so called "automatic system" to look on someone social media!!! is this the vetting they wanted us to go through? We all know that we have been filtered on so many stages prior our interview. Whether you are from a banned country or not, we all go through an extensive process of checking and vetting. Basically, it is a total shutdown as the president always called for it. There is a fight at the court for waiver system that I "pray" to see it winning.
