Hello everyone,

Happy Eid for those who celebrate it.

Just a quick question for people who had to resubmit documents through email. How did you resubmit them?

I mean, did you send a separate email with your case number in the subject line (that's what we did).

Or did you reply to your original email that you sent the first time?

And did you include a cover sheet or just the corrected document(s)? (We didn't include any cover sheet).

We submitted our corrected marriage certificate a couple of weeks ago and I wanted to make sure that we did it the right way to not waste more time if we needed to resend it in a different way.

Thank you in advance.

Hello,

I honestly do not know the exact procedure. I did not have to re-submit anything back then. your best bet might be to give them a call and try to get a hold of a rep at NVC and verify (unless any of the members here had a similar experience).

All the best

Thank you very much for your response.

I am sorry for the wrong tag, I remember I talked to someone who resubmitted the birth certificate because they asked for a rotation. I thought that was you. But I will look for the one who posted it.

My husband tried calling NVC several times but never was able to speak to anyone.

Thanks again and looking forward to hearing good news from you about your case.

@MariamArab I think you might know about it, because you told me that you had to resubmit the birth certificate after they asked you to rotate it.

Thanks in advance.

Hey guys

i have been under AP for 14 months now.

i am syrian and my wife (US citizen) is petitioning my CR1 visa.

i did my interview in Amman in June 2018.

a month ago i noticed that my DS260 is “reopened” so i contacted the embassy and they told me that they will contact me soon and ask me to update the form.

I don’t know if this means anything?

Anyways My case got updated on the first of this month.

i am really tired of waiting. 14 months is too much to handle 😕

Do you live in Syria ? And I’d your wife a Native American ??

Have they ever asked you to send your passport to the embassy ? And what does the new CEAC update show ?
