Doesn't hurt to try.

Thank you @Muhammad&Mansory

I'll be writing one as well.

thanks.

So I wrote to the 9 justices, each addressing them with their name. The percentage of getting a waiver is currently around 5%. If we have a chance of 1% that one of the 9 justices read the letter and try to act on it, that is splendid!

While its good, the only justices that really matter now are roberts. Other four on both sides are completely ideologically biased. He also wrote the majority opinion.

In either case, I think the term "percentage of getting a waiver" is inaccurate. Everyone with a pending IR/CR will eventually get a wavier, unless presented with a national security risk which is so rare it would have been no different even without the ban. The issue here is the open ended wait. It was acceptable when this was applied on a very small subset of applicants that were genuine threats. Now, with a blanket ban, i think this can be challenged.

This confirms what I have been saying all along. If you dont qualify for a waiver, you will be informed on the spot. If you are put in AP, you have already qualified for Undue Hardship + National Interest. National Security is the part of the waiver that happens at the DOS that takes forever. This is why there is no need for waiver letters for spouses of USCs. Every one who is interviewing is getting put into AP, as we have seen with folks on this thread, with or without waiver letters.

In one of the screenshots shared by @salhasl, it says if applicant is eligible for an exception follow normal processing.
I have seen this said in several other articles including the official website. Does anyone know what makes a person eligible for an exception? I tried to search but I couldn't find anything about it.

thats make me have a question ? cr-1 less than 2 years of marriage .... now most travel ban countries who appalied to his or her spouse passed 2 years of marriage ... are they going to upgrade that to IR1

I think this means for those exceptions such as dual nationals, those with valid visas before the proclamation went into effect that were already in the US and such. There is a list of exceptions on state dept website under faqs about the presidential proclamation and all the exceptions are listed there

I was wondering if anyone had updates on CEAC recently ? Has anyone received regular updates say once a month vs an update every x months ?

I was thinking the same thing. My last update was April 25 and I emailed an inquiry at the beginning of the month and no reply or updates.
