My wife was in a similar situation Syrian interviewed in Ankara. We were refused under the travel ban and contacted 3 weeks later to send the passport for visa processing. She’s now with me in the states.

Beautiful Thanks Paret 😃

@paret3169 hi, did your wife had a second interview too? Or just sending her passport? I wonder if there’s a second interview what kind of documents they ask for and what questions to be prepared for!

thanks

Hello everyone, I would like to make this thread as a support group to those impacted by the Travel Ban issued by Trump. PLEASE, if you are not in this category, no need to comment here because we do not need any negative energy! A lot of us are US citizens who cannot even bring our spouses! We do not need to be lectured about how good such a ban can be!

If you are affected by this ban, feel free to ask anything!

I need some help, I am a Nigeria, I live in South Africa, I was approved on 24th October 2019, I never got a 221g but after few days CEAC changes to Administraive Process, ever since then I have been on AP,  Embassy responded to my email stating that they are working to adjudicate the case as soon as possible,  Now that Trump travel ban is impose to My country Nigeria, will it still affect me ? I am really waiting for the embassy maybe they will issue my visa this week? I am believing that I won't be affected,

Please advise

Thank you

Married to a Nigerian 2019-11-20, submitted cr1 and received receipt on 2019-12-24! I'm freaking out! How can this happen? I need my husband! Do you know if they send you a letter stating you are screwed? Would you know when you try for the waiver? I read it's really expensive and you need an attorney for it... Thoughts?

Thank you!
