I think it's $5000 per family if you join a big case, or $15,000 if it's your own case by itself

it is too much we cannot afford the 5000 the problem i am sure they forgot about case and the only way is to this but we cannot.

i read on facebook about a case was on ap for 2 years and still had to apply for court and paied 5000 in order to get her visa.

imagain waiting 2 years and then do what you couldve done 1.5 year back

Has anyone heard of whats the situation as of now? I know in September and October they were giving out visas same day or same week of interview for spouses but of late i am not hearing much. Maybe people are just not posting as much. Has anyone from travel ban countries interviewed in November for the first time? What has been the outcome?

I think there's a lot things happening these days and ppl are just busy completing their paperwork for their visa. Things are getting better from before that's one thing I know for sure. In shaaAllah khair.

I know a Syrian man who interviewed in Amman embassy 3rd of November for CR-1.  He got his visa issued in less than a week and now he is in the US already.

First of all thank you for this awesome forum. it had renewed my hope. I went through tens of pages trying to see if I can find someone in my situation with no luck. My Fiance and soon to be wife is a Palestinian with Syrian traveling documents known as "وثيقه". She has been living in Syria for the past 17 years. Anyone knows if she would be impacted by the travel ban?

Thank you soo much for the post, you have restored my faith in the possibility of actually going through with the marriage.

Wow ..I am sorry to hear that and I hope they get to your case soon. It's looks like they are clearing backlogs. I wonder why would they hold a Jordanian from getting a spouse visa to the US? This is very strange. I pray for you to be able to join your souse soon :)
