I'm in the same boat. Passport has been at Kuala lumpur embassy for 2 weeks. Sent one email so far, no response, although I didn't expect them to respond. Ended up dropping by at aramex just to see if it was there and nothing. Woman that works there said the embassy hadn't sent any passports for the past two days (17th and 18th) as embassy has been having meetings. Starting to get worried tbh..praying we get it very soon.

It is hard to tell how they process every case. They had my case for a whole just because I don't have enough proof relationship but I sent them a lot pictures.  It's very frustrating to be honest but in shaaAllah we will be patient.

I have sent them tons of prove everything you said I emailed them but nothing.  They told me to contact the uscis because I didn't provide any proof.  So I contacted the uscis many times and last month they sent a letter saying that they don't the case since they have approved my I130. I don't really sure why they are playing around with me.

Try call the nvc or us embassy that has ur papers or talk to a lawyer or email ur local Congress. I'm always checking for anything and when i did my interview before I left I always ask if there's any missing. I'm sure that the us embassy consular dont look at the emails it just the workers. trying calling the us embassy that has the papers and ask to speak to consular to see what's going on keep calling until someone answers you. Or look online on how to contact ur local Congressmen and see if they can help you out because they are more likely to open the email and get a really reply.

Same thing here we dropped my wife's passport on August 28th, at the Kuala Lumpur embassy and haven't heard from them since  that day. Also, they stopped responding to our emails when we dropped her passport.

Hi All,

I would like to thank all for all the support you have provided.

My fiance (k1 visa) alhamdullah arrived to the USA .

He was interviewed at Rio De Janerio consulate . We were about 4 months in AP.

We were emailed on Sept 1 saying the AP is over and we were asked to submit new police clearance and new medical exam along with the passport.

The interesting thing is his visa was valid only for one month (usually 6 months I think)

We were emailing the consulate almost every week and we were so respectful to the officer.

I do think sending emails weekly help.

Good luck to all of you who are waiting for the loved ones to arrive :)
