There is light at the end of the tunnel. The DOS has testified to congress that they plan to finish the remaining 17K waiver adjudications within next 6 months.

Law360 (September 24, 2019, 7:00 PM EDT) -- A U.S. Department of State official on Tuesday blamed the lengthy delays that have plagued the travel ban waiver process on a time-intensive manual security check, but told lawmakers that a new automated procedure rolled out this summer has significantly sped up the process.

Speaking before House Judiciary and House Oversight subcommittees, Edward Ramotowski of the State Department’s Bureau of Consular Affairs said that waiver approvals had doubled in the last two months, since the department started automating part of the process to vet individuals from the nations targeted by President Donald Trump’s travel restrictions.

He also said the department plans to get through the rest of the waiver cases, which face a 17,000-case backlog, within the next six months.

Hello guys!

Around 3 weeks ago the U.S embassy in Riyadh asked us to submit new medical and police report. We sent the documents this week. They haven’t asked for passport or any other document. Should I expect another interview? What is an oath for ppl under the travel ban? I have read comments that mention that.

Anyone has any idea of how long does it take after they ask for new documents?

Thanks a lot!!!

They also released the stats from March to June (The Quarterly Report). I saw them this morning on the website.

Yes, mine aswell from the embassy in Nairobi. I had the interview earlier than you, but you got approved before me.😁

I don't know what happened to my case🤔. You think it is looking good for Nairobi cases right now?

Thanks. I should just keep checking the CEAC site then if there is any update right? And what did they change to, from 'Adminstrstive processing' to what?  Your case.

Anyone know of cases that interviewed recently  post the new automated system? Does it really make a difference? Do they still give the DS 5355? I’ve been shy to ask because my wife’s interview is coming up and I know you all have been unfairly waiting so long and i haven’t gone thru what u all went thru yet.  I have been praying for you since I joined this wonderful group, you guys have been great help! I pray we are all with our loved ones soon inshallah!
