No one can really answer since you haven't been issued a visa yet. You will have to wait it out and see. First  got to get through AP.

Hello guys,

I need to know if it's not necessary to carry along Joint Sponsor AOS and it's tax return on interview date, since it's already uploaded on NVC website (www.ceac.state.gov). I don't know if they will still ask it aside from Petitioner AOS documents that will be requested for during interview. I need the right ideas.

Thanks

Hello. We are CR1, interview was end of June 2019 in Frankfurt via direct consular filing, my wife's nationality is Iran and up until yesterday it showed administrative processing, today it shows "refused". She has never been to the US, no criminal past and she lives and works in Germany. Straight forward case.

We are very concerned. Has anyone had the same experience? Whats going to happen next?

Any input would be appreciated.

Thank you

My fiance is Iranian as well, but now a citizen of Norway.  We've been waiting in AP for 1.5 years and our case just updated today to "Refused" as well.

From what I have read so far online from others, is that this was either a glitch in the computer system, or just a change in the way they note that you are in AP (for example, your case was refused at the interview, but still under AP, and not closed or rejected, hence, the Refused status.)

This seems to have happened to a big chunk of applicants today, so I am not going to worry about it, but just to be safe, I have sent an email to our embassy to double check.

I-129F Sent: 12/29/17

I-129F NOA 1: 1/4/18

I-129F NOA 2: 7/9/18

NVC Received: 7/18/18

Consulate Received: 8/9/18

Packet 3 Received: 8/13/18

Interview Date: 9/20/18

Interview Result: Administrative Processing

*Visitor's visa interview: December 2016, called back by embassy for second interview on same visa application in January 2019 - visitor's visa finally issued May 2019.

*Fiance visa placed in administrative processing September 2018.

*Beneficiary's Country: Norway via Iran.

I dont really have the patience of reading through this entire thread.

I have a quick question: Will all applicants for DV-lottery 2021 born in on of the travel ban countries automatically be disqualified?

The travel ban came in the effect February, I applied in October and the results come out in May.

Thanks :)

Not something to worry about unless you are selected, the odds are tiny.
