Hello, our I-129F was recently approved and now I'm beginning to gather all the evidence required for the I-134. I am the petitioner.

I'm currently banking with Bank of America and obtaining a letter in the form that USCIS wants is not something they can accommodate from what I've found.

I've also seen other threads on this forum that a letter from my bank is not necessary if I am able to provide 2017 tax transcripts showing income above 125% the poverty guidelines.

Does anyone know the current amount to be above the poverty guidelines?

If I'm over 125%, can I just submit a copy of my tax transcripts and the letter from my employer (full time employee) as supporting evidence?

Thanks in advance and have a blessed one!

That's not true, regarding BOA and the letter. I went in and explained to them that I needed a copy of my bank history for the past two years including deposits. You have to go into the branch and do it, I think the fee is about $10. If you explain that it's for a spousal visa they should know exactly what to give you.

if they don't give them to you...you can always print out your monthly statements, and that could be many pages, but atleast gives the Embassy a chance to look through them and verify you do have enough income aside than the tax transcripts and employer letter

Awesome, that's great info @Jaquelly and @Alabamak1! I'll go to the local branch today and update this thread.

Somewhat related, is an electronic tax transcript OK? It seems like the mailed version takes 10 days (https://www.irs.gov/individuals/get-transcript).

yes, they will understand that it is an official document. just email the tax transcript if and when you get it, to the beneficiary.
