affidavit of support question

Finally got the application done (took forever because it kept logging me out while I was typing) and was looking for where to do the AOS. I thought I had read that the AOS could be submitted online? Am I remembering incorrectly? No big deal if I am, just want to do it right. Also, I am a homemaker so we will be using my husbands income for the AOS since it qualifies as it will continue after our relocation. Which form would you suggest? the regular AOS or could we get by with the EZ? I read that we can use the same form instead of two separate forms. Thanks for any input!

Also, I read on a lawyer site that they recommend having a co-sponsor when using the intending immigrant's income. Does anyone have personal experience where it was a problem to just use the spouses income? My dad would be my co-sponsor, but he still hasn't even filed his taxes for last year so I am not sure how long it would take to get his information for that. Thanks in advance.

I'm not sure of any issues, I've heard of people using assets before on the application too, but if he isn't making 125% of HHS Poverty Guidelines you will need a co-sponsor.  If it's just the two of you, the requirement is $20,575.

I'm unsure how long the taxes for your father might take, I'd look into it asap though if you do need him as co-sponsor.

no, he has an extension for last years taxes but he hasn't been able to get to the accountants to pick them up so they can be filed. He's a trucker and is only home on the weekends which they arent open weekends. Since we just found out that we have another two month delay for medical, i think i will have him do one just to be safe. I'm stressing out because that puts us in the last two weeks I'll be able to fly before the babies born.
