Good day VJ's

I am supposed to file my I-751 soon. I just have question and hope you guys can help me.

My passport is still on my maiden name. It will expire on 2022. Could I still file my I-751 even if my passport is on my maiden name or it would be a problem? When I apply for I-485 I didn't have a problem even if I used the same passport (maiden name).

Any response will  be appreciated.

Thank you.

Thank you.

Having your passport in your maiden name is not an issue,  as the marriage certificate links your pre and post marriage names

Renewing the passport in your married name saves a lot of hassle with travelling,  USCIS etc.. but may be more troublesome for other reasons such as cost, location of your embassy and the process itself..
