Hello everyone,

Thanks to visajourney, i have successfully filed and got my green card, so i was hoping i will be able to get an answer.

Friend of mine got denied because failed to respond to REF. He decided to re-submit the AOS, however doesn’t have experience writing the cover letter with explanation. I tried to find some samle, but i couldn’t find any.

I will appreciate any help.

Thank you

Personally, I would strongly consider getting the help of an attorney if I had a denied I-486......why did he get an RFE?

Why did he fail to respond to an RFE? What a waste of time and money.

I do not know the reason why he failed to answer or what was asked so he needs to explain in his own words why he is resubmitting a new I-485.

The RFE was saying that the part for the name of the sponsor on the Affidavit of support was blank, and on the second page they asked for I 130A. He submitted new Affidavit with all the paychecks, W2 and Tax transcripts, except the I130A. It was on the second page where the paper was stapled so he missed that part.

I was wondering if there was specific format for the letter, or not.
